I had that one! I had a few other ones as well. Looking back, it seemed like the character of T-Bob on the show was the show creators thinking, "What if R2-D2 could turn into a motor scooter?".

And now, this gut-bustingly funny Robot Chicken sketch:

(C'mon, you thought the same thing about Boulder Hill, as well....)

I loved this show and had the VHS "game" and played it to death.

    Here's another one I had...

Like this one, mine was the earlier model, without the ladder attachment.

Oh, I also had a G.I. Joe hanglider, which was sort of like a big, plastic kite with a seat for the action figure. I can't find an image for it, though. Can anyone else find one?

I think I remember seeing that "This presentation in living color" intro by NBC all the way up to the 80's.

    Anybody remember this intro:

I always got excited when it showed up, because it meant a Peanuts special, or anything pretty much animated in prime time, was coming up.

You kids and your Cartoon Networks that play cartoons all day, back when I was a kid you were lucky to get cartoons on Saturday mornings and after school, and that was it!

I've always remembered this moment. The film, not so much--but this moment.

Well, fun fact, they did actually add their blood to the ink vat, but IIRC somebody near the top has said that ink accidentally got used for an issue of Sports Illustrated instead.

My brother and I bought it at a back-issue bin in a comic-book shop in the early '90s when I started getting into comics. Being familiar with the early years of SNL from watching reruns on Nick At Nite, it was a bit of a blast.

They just don't write movie themes like this anymore.

C'mon, doesn't watching this make you want to see the show itself? Also, guys like Thanos and Darkseid don't stand a chance against an intergalactic superhero line-up like that...

And you can't be retro if you don't have a Wonderama reference:

Good choices, I agree. But Alan Carter was the coolest space pilot, pre-Han Solo.
