Dragon Age III: Inquisition officially announced!

I'm excited. I'm one of the minority that likes both Origins and II, so bring on Inquisition.

 

Origins is better than 2, and Dragon Age 2 shouldn't be considered a sequel to Origins, since it really doesn't have anything to do with Origins, now Awakening is a Sequel to Origins

I'm okay with co-op as long as they don't crowbar it into the main storyline, so you can still complete the game with playing a shred of MP.

 

BG1 and 2 had Co-Op MP, it just meant you missed some single player content as you didn't have one of the voiced PC companions in your party. I'll be interested to see how they handle it here.

 

Game Informer is doing a whole month on coverage on Inquisition

Their upcoming issue is available now available online (you may/may not be able to find summaries online; not sure if direct-linking is TOS ok)

Everything they're saying sounds perfect (playable race selection, customization armor, expansive map areas, castle-siegeing, returning characters)! I can't wait a year

 

If it means we get something on the level of Origins or ME1/ME2 again, I'd gladly wait several.

 

I loved Origins, and enjoyed it's sequel. While it was clearly inferior, it's story was still fun to play through, and the companions were great as always in BioWare games.

Hopefully Inquisition can enjoy the quality of Origins again, but be a true "next-gen" game.

 

The make or break for EAware. They must do something good this time. I think that a game as good as BD2/Kotor/ME/DA is out of question but I hope that they'll bring a good game to us this year. No more stupidity, do the things right and make us love your games again.

 

Please EA, leave Bioware alone and let them give us a great game

It's still true that I have loved every BioWare game I've played though, so my hopes are still high. With the power of the next gen we should hopefully get more player races and voice acting. I'm not too bothered with voice acting, truth be told, and I'm sure it's why we could only be human in DA2 as it seems to be a one or the other scenario.

As for co-op, I'm not sure. I like playing with others in MMORPGs and stuff, but even then I mostly play on my own. If it's an optional extra like 'you can play with friends but you won't miss anything if you don't' then that's ok. I just hope it doesn't do what ME3 did where you have part of the single player tied to it. You have to play that every day to maintain your readiness rating and I just don't like it that much.

The cave at the very beginning looks like it came from Origins

Dragons look much larger in this one than it did in the other games

But looking forward to this game

 

Dragon age origins might be my all time fav game.
