    Far more than that if you assume the whole war (Pacific theater as well) wouldn't have happened without him.

    Oh I agree but Japan and Nazi Germany joined up in the mid 30's. Also, it's very difficult to imagine them attacking the U.S. if not for their alliance with Hitler.
    The casualties, civilian and military, that would have happened in the Pacific would probably have been far less. And since we can only guess what would have happened in an alternate timeline, we can't logically exclude that the Pacific only war would have ended very early, etc.
