    Perhaps he was trying to reassure us or something. Maybe he knew nothing was coming at D23 but wanted to let us know it's still coming soon. Gosh, you know, deep down that Emperor guy has such a good heart. :p

    All of these D23 articles are just rewrites of other articles... taking the same news and conclusions, mixing it up a bit, and serving it again.

    We tend to get these rehashed news stories when there is no real news to report.

    Aside, I have always wondered why TFN did not send out its own pool of reporters to scoop Star Wars news. I would be willing to bet, TFN would do a far better job than most of mainstream media.

    Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from D23 SW-wise. I actually thought they'd make an Avengers announcement. After DC announcing Superman/Batman, I really thought they were being intentionally quiet. Break the big news a month later to steal DC's thunder.

    Another thing came to me when I was musing this issue. What if Disney is purposely holding back the casting announcement of the big three, in order to allow Harrison Ford to promote his upcoming films (Enders Game, Paranoia) without the inevitable Star Wars distraction.

    That means we might not hear any casting announcements until Ender's Game and Paranoia finishes their run in cinemas, so possibly late-December, early January???

    I am just speculating, but I only think the delay would be until the PR junket is complete, not theatrical run.

    The thing is though that whether they announce it or not Harrison is going to be asked endlessly either way. The silence might very well be because of his upcoming commitments (and I definitely think it makes sense since Disney will probably want his full commitment to be for SW when the announcement comes) but that won't stop anyone from asking. Star Wars dominates all! :p

    Interview schminterview. As forthcoming with information as TPTB have been, it may be necessary to use brute force (Force).

    My report could be along the lines of:

    "Today a small strike team infiltrated the fortress of the evil Disney Empires to rescue the prisoner M. Arndt, who has been MIA for many months now. Simultaneously, a group of freedom fighters breached the stronghold of Bad Robot and recovered the so-called "mystery box".

    Unfortunately, the whereabouts of high-valued targets KK and Abrams is still unknown.

    Although details are still coming in, it is apparent that, as usual, many Bothan spies died, and that the death toll is catastrophic.

    That sounds about right! I think we might hear the first announcements around December like you stated see the first teaser trailer around Summer of 2014 probably with the release of Captain America- Soldier of Winter in may. that's if they don't jump the gun and release it earlier with The Hobbit- The Desolation of Smaug in December.

    Why would they release a teaser a whole year before the film is released? The precedent is usually six months at the most
