More, maybe. JK:A was in 14 ABY. FOTJ is in 43-44 ABY. So actually, 30 years. Which is odd considering Crosscurrent says Jaden is in his mid-forties. He should be at least fifty. If he's forty-something, that means he was a teenager in Jedi Academy. Neither the voice nor the character models screamed "late teens" to me. But I think even Abyss, in FOTJ, said he was in his forties.

 

It doesn't surprise me that Jaden and Rosh are teenagers in Jedi Academy.

 

Rosh, yes. Jaden, I see as 19-21; if he was 19, he'd be 47 in Crosscurrent. Maybe that's what Kemp was shooting for. But according to Wookieepedia, Jaden was born in 1 ABY, meaning he'd be 13 in JK:A. 13.

 

Well, whenever it isn't nailed down with a specific age there's latitude to assume it's somewhat off, so Jaden being 47 or 48 in Crosscurrent works for me. Obi-Wan and Vader were both supposed to be a lot older in the OT and that got cut down by the prequels.

 

True, true. Given Jacen and Jaina's feats at 14, it's not impossible that Jaden was 13 at the time. Still, defeating Tavion and Alora, and fighting Boba Fett to a standstill is pretty impressive for a boy who would've been Ben's age in Bloodlines, when Ben made his first kill–and was extremely upset after. Jaden kills an awful lot of people at 13.

Not only did they not kill her but Denning even had the audacity to make her Head of State at the end of Invincible. That got me even angrier than the cliched Jacen/Jaina duel.
