JCC Discussion Time: Let's Talk About Drafts - next draft?

My suggestion regarding m&tv is to wait for after Christmas; there are some movies coming out later this year that look like they're worth waiting for.

 

i could go for a scrub draft. interesting dynamics there.

 

My board is Animated, Pokemon or Wrestling. I could go myth as well I suppose.

Yes, pokemon did finish. I was handed the belt.

 

My opinion is if you want to be the very best, go play Pokemon. Having a draft for it is silly.

He's crying because he wants a Pokemon draft. And EF blocks the way like a snorlax.

 

Anything in particular you have in mind? I don't disagree, just curious if there's anything else I should be keeping an eye on, as I was just thinking my to-watch list was looking a bit short for the rest of the year.

I seem to recall a few movies that looked promising but now all i can remember is 47 Ronin,

 

So is there like, some way we could take a vote here?

 

how about we each pick our top three, assign a point total of one two or three to them, and that draft with the most points is what we do next? just post it in the thread basically. seems like the fairest/easiest way to do it.

 

I'd be willing to play, judge, or commish comics, un, or wrestling. I wouldn't do anything with anime or Pokemon.

 

I would judge comics, anything in wrestling, GM in anime (unless I was really needed to judge/commish), and anything in Pokemon though I'd prefer to GM. Anything in Myth. Anything else I don't know well enough to do anything.

 

I'd say whoever volunteers to run something first is probably going to be what we do; that's what happened last time.

 

What about a musical artist draft? That would be fun.

I would just pick all my favorite wrestlers from my childhood as I haven't watched wrestling for almost 15 to 20 years now.

It'd be just like any other draft for me. Pretty good team, but skip on 1 or 2 guys I should take because I don't like them.

I skipped on Extant and Hourman for at least 2 rounds each in Comics.

 

i wouldn't be involved in that one. i know of... sting, andre the giant, the rock, the undertaker, ray mystery and hulk hogan. that is literally it.
