Lit Han Solo novels by Dale Avery and Ed Fisher

Has anyone heard of them? Someone told me that they were sequels to the Brian Daley novels. They're not on Wookieepedia, and there's hardly any info at all on the internet.

Foreign language fan-fic?

 

I was curious, so I googled it. Apparently they're Hungarian. I found this blog about it - be sure to read the comments, where there's more info.

I quickly glanced at the link above, and it was mainly about Ewoks comics.

Are the Han Solo novels foreign translations of existing work?

 

Can Abel translate Hungarian too?

While likely unofficial as has been noted, those are some nifty old-schooling covers.

 

Will is in a rush to go get the latest translated copy... old-school style

 

They should have articles on Wookieepedia noting them as ambiguously canon, amirite?

 

These have come up here periodically. They appear to be fan works by the translators of the Daley novels that they passed off as more official novels, if I remember the research correctly.

 

Yep, although there's a somewhat mysterious Hungarian article about these that when run through google translate appears to say that LFL somehow acquired the rights to these novels. What that means isn't clear, though.
