Yeah, the second image didn't work for me so I googled the URL and ended up seeing this. My revenge will be legendary.

    Fixed the link.

Anyway, I think you shot yourself in your own foot by willingly venturing onto deviant art there... :p

Blame Google Images--didn't know it was a DeviantArt link until it was too late. Far, far too late...

I love both Dratini and Dragonair. My heart will always belong to Charmander and his line, though, I don't care if he's the popular choice (aside from Pikachu, that is). I have at least one line I love in every generation I've played:
    Charmander from the original games
    [IMG]
    Larvitar from G&S
    [IMG]
    Torchic from R&S
    [IMG]
    Piplup from D&P
    [IMG]
    Axew from B&W
    [IMG]
Honorable mentions to Snivvy, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Natu, Umberon and Bulbasaur. And yes, a lot of them are starters. Gen II was my favorite Gen, as well.

My favorite is Charmander as well, although Stealth Rock makes it reaaallly hard to use Charizard in battle. I love Dragonair too, and I love taking it up against OU teams and beating them with it.

So I heard that people around here like Crusader Kings II, and thought I'd give it a try. It's pretty overwhelming though. [face_hypnotized]

Just press buttons to see what they do. The first game will likely be just learning to play but it should still be fun. I'm on a second long game and it's almost weird how this time I can come up with long plans and get alliances. I got from count to king in three generations.

Start somewhere in Ireland around 1066. Preferably Munster. You'll pick it up quickly.

Alternatively, if you have The Old Gods expansion, starting as Ivar the Boneless in 867 is a nice simple start, although you learn about the pitfalls of gavelkind inheritance rather quickly.

The thing is, the more I think about "we do not sow", the less badass it sounds, and the more it makes the Ironborn sound like a bunch of useless parasites.

They are a bunch of useless parasites. They are a culture based upon the idea that production is for lessers and by right they can go in and take it.

Um. Okay. Sure. But I was mainly making a connection between the fact they're thieving water-types.

Yeah, that's pretty much the key... just press buttons and figure out by doing.

edit: My favorite thing was this thread on the Paradox forums where some dude talked about how he got CK2 as a preorder bonus for EU4 and ended up liking CK2 a lot more than the game he was actually buying.

I think it'll take over as their flagship title, eventually.
