Some of these deserve to be on the list, others are curious.

Yeah why is Mala Mala on this list? She's awesome. Also I have no idea who any of these other characters are besides Greedo tbh.

I recognize a few but some I don't and that bothers me like "fake armor boy."

One of the background characters fleshed out by one of the "What's My Story?" contests from the Databank days, IIRC.

Boy, there's been a bunch of these blogs recently. Don't they realize the EU is done for? [face_laugh]

I would be unsurprised if the EU continued on even if they did something like, "Han, Leia, and Luke are together 30 years after the movies and there's no sign of any kids or they have a dozen other ones."

Mala Mala shouldn't be on that list. It's true that she was sort of stupid and naive in her youth, but then she became quite competent.

I don't know the first thing about bounty hunters, but that looks well-researched, so I can approve.

Wait... did that just salvage Greedo's original backstory?

    ... Completely?

Sure, it says "While much of his history is obscured in conflicting accounts and misinformation due to the popular action-adventure holoserials, it is generally believed that..."

But then it goes on to retell Hunter's Fate in its entirety.

Take that, Pablo! Where's your databank wiping now?

Ha! So TCW really seems to be a silly IU holo serial? :D

Nice to see the Design an Alien series get referenced. I'm curious about no species being given for Fud. This seems like the best opportunity for that to finally be identified. Did you consider it?

[Edit: I've clearly been spoiled on these forums and now expect all authors to stroll by!]

It works, it works so well. TCW can be written up as either Imperial propaganda (Yularin is the narrator, after all), or another one of Geptun's crazy ideas, one that he actually managed to get past Luke. Luke protested that the Clone Wars stories he'd heard didn't seem to match up. Geptun's response: "Well, mine's a holodrama, so who're you going to believe, me or them?"

The article also mentions Boba knowing Bossk since he was a child, so maybe The Hunter's Fate is the holoserial!

Maybe Greedo didn't even exist! He was only a holoserial hero who had lots of cosplayer fans.

An excellent article. Lovely connections all around. Loved the part about Castas being afraid of Windu because of his actions in Dantooine.

All of "A Hunter's Tale" still happened, but dates still need to be revised. Essentially, between U-Tendik and Nar Shaddaa he spend some years on Tatooine, allowing for both TPM deleted scene and the Sphere of Influence to happen.

I am kind of curious why people would care about the size of a bounty hunter - a small blaster works just fine after all.

Remel Fud? I see what you guys did there... [face_laugh]

And Tutti Snibbit from the Prize Pelt? Great stuff. Wish we could find out what Tinian and Chenlambec have been up to lately...

I'm loving this slew of EU-exploring articles lately, can't wait to see what they come up with next.
