Say a thousand of each were pitted against each other, each relying on their advanced force abilities, which would win the conflict?

Yoda's race accommodates practically all of the light side force abilities and are extremely talented at using them, however they are physically weak and can become exhausted very quickly when not given enough time to rest. Also, because of the nature of the light a lot of their force abilities aren't suited for conflict and war, though when focused they can lift extremely heavy objects and toss them around without much stress.

The Sith race specialise heavily in dark side powers and are/were naturally talented in most dark side abilities without even the need for training. These abilities in contrast are much more suited for conflict and can throw lethal bursts of energy at whomever stands in their way, however they lack defensive abilities such as force barrier and when in trouble they can't use force heal to recover as Yoda's race can. Also because of their aggressive nature they're more liking to rushing in without thinking things through, which as Yoda's race are renowned for their wisdom it could play into Yoda's race's hands.

So in the end, which race do you think would turn out the victor? And do you think it'll be the effectiveness of the force abilities or the strategy that would be the deciding factor?

We know really next to nothing about Yoda's race, the paragraph you made about Yoda's race really just sums up Yoda. We don't know if he is typical for his species or an anomaly.

Given the evidence we actually know, I say the Sith.

I don't mean to sound unkind, but you're wrong. Sith aren't naturally talented in most dark side abilities without needing training. Just because they're Sith it doesn't mean they're powerful. After all, Jedi who came to Korriban, interacted with the Sith race and became the first Dark Jedi to ever live, were considered Gods to the first Sith tribes. Though nearly every Sith is Force-sensitive, not everyone of them is powerful.

Proof is seen in the Old Republic: Revan book where Scourge frowned upon a Sith servant...I forget his name, but that goes to show how lame of a Sith he was.

Why not have someone from Yoda's race fall to the Dark Side?
