ST Announcements Discussion

Hayden Christensen was officially announced as Anakin Skywalker in May of 2000. That was one month before shooting began. We got maybe one report a week before saying he was being considered. A few days after he was announced it was said that he was in the final four with Colin Hanks, Paul Cattermole, and Ryan Phillippe. After Hayden's announcement, the rest of the cast was rolled out over the course of 2 or 3 months. Depending upon when they were filming their scenes.

Disney: Please, 12 episodes so isn't forever, we'll have made 12 movie in a minimum of 12 years and lets talk several tv series too... and that marketing budget for the toys

 

Ryan Phillippe would have been better than Christensen but anyway I knew we would have to wait for December for any casting news !........
