I live out in the boonies between two big cities in Michigan- Muskegon and Grand Rapids.

I was the All-Metro Senior Student Athlete of the Year for Football in 2007, so I guess if you consider 850,000 people, no major pro sports team and one building taller than 300 feet a metro area . . . Sure.

Manhattan island is 75% of my state's population . . . So haha, I don't feel like we have a city.

 

San Francisco Bay Area. Specifically the Peninsula.

 

Now THAT'S a ****ing metro area.

 

Crem and Eden should definitely go out for tequila shots and mini golf.

 

LA County's population is twice that of my entire country. How about that.

 

I spent the first 26 years of my life on the central coast of CA. LA was the closest metropolitan area, and it was 100 mi away. Now I'm doing grad school up in Seattle at UW and every day I'm fascinated by another aspect of city life. (Also, having grown up driving the 405 every time we went south, I find it hilarious when people up here complain of traffic. No, this is not traffic, I'm in 3rd gear.)

Home of the world's first gas station, the world's longest floating bridge, and the world's biggest ferry system.

There's a fountain on UW, over which you can see Mt Rainier on a clear day. Some forward thinking UW official back in the day bought the rights to the skyline so that no one can build up and the view will always be preserved.

 

The LA metro area's population is six times that of my state.

 

According to Wikipedia I do, but the population in the entire county is under 300k. That makes me highly skeptical of such assertions.

i wish i could, but i have other stuff i need to do like my contract jobs and my graveyard visits. compared to those activities and others, following jello is quite low on my list. but i do enjoy it when the time does permit.

 

I live in the Sydney metro area but right on the outskirts about 60 kms from the Sydney CBD in a semi rural area.

 

I live downtown.
