Of course, what I'm not telling you is that the quizzes are curved, and therefore it's advantageous to give difficult quizzes so they do better on the midterms.

Single-variable calculus for science majors. Obligatory first real math, basically.

 

Oh, Ramza, how did those tests you were studying for go? And by studying I mean turning your brain to mush over.

 

Close (Exactly one stupid mistake faulted me), but no cigar. Meaning I get to do it all again in the winter.

Winter ones are easier, though, and the test prep is more structured, so I'm not sweating them as much.

 

Throw in a spelling bee, one week.

 

And a cross country race. While testing them.

It was part of the documentation I intercepted also laying out that the final would involve a calculus exam while undergoing the physical assessment for inclusion in Special Forces. Failure in either resulting in a repeat.

 

Well, that's one of the three options on the table, yes. Personally I'm still in favor of the curve being determined by death combat on a bridge suspended over an active volcano.
