JCC Reshma Shetty for Bond Girl in a future Bond film?

Watched Skyfall last night and I had a suggestion for a Bond Girl I would love to see in one of the two Bond Films that Daniel Craig is confirmed to be contracted to eventually do. And that is Reshma Shetty from the show Royal Pains because I think an indian bond girl would be interesting. Plus it makes more sense because Reshma Shetty is british herself just a suggestion I had. Thoughts?

She's not too young I think.

 

She isn't attractive enough for a Bond girl. Unless that's a super terrible picture.

 

She is only 35 only two years younger then Naomie Harris who was a Bond Girl for Skyfall even though she turned out to be Eve Moneypenny. And Berenice Marlohe who played Severine who wasn't in Skyfall that long is around the same age as well. Besides Bond Girls have varied in age.

 

Needs more Kate Beckinsale.

 

I wonder if Brainiac will be the villain? I think I'll make a fanmade trailer.

 

James Bond should fight Brainiac, with Kate Beckinsale playing Reshma Shetty as the Bond girl. She is not too old.

Wow this went off topic really quickly but I guess sometimes a suggestion may be not as interesting to everyone.

 

I would also love to see Reshma Shetty in a Bond film she is good in Royal Pains and a British-Indian woman makes sense plus did you know she's also American. I think she's pretty and she's definitely not too old to be in a Bond film that was an interesting suggestion you made thank you.

 

It's not so much that there's anything wrong with the suggestion as it is that it's an odd thread topic. These things either go one of two directions. People make their own "suggestions" inevitably with pictures, at which point it just begins to degenerate into some VLM/safe for work porn/girls I like thread. Alternatively, people start speculating more about possible plots, characters, and actors, at which point you get a Kate Beckinsale fan casting. It's entirely too conjectural, so there's not a lot to actually talk about, and the pieces we have trend in bad directions.

 

I'm up for this thread becoming a safe for work porn/girls I like thread. Like this post if you agree with me and we'll sort this out via good old democracy.

Jabba-wocky Well I know it was a odd topic but it was something I had thought of after I saw Skyfall and I realized that I don't think there has ever been a bond girl of the indian race. And I was curious what people on this forum would think since this is one of the forums I visit often.

Well, I mean, I'm just explaining the reaction to you. I guess you deserve one serious response, though. So yes, this franchise could benefit from more diversity.

But I mean, also it's fundamentally a franchise about an idiot that murders people and has sex. While there's something to be said for promoting different conceptions of beauty, I don't know that framing them in such a deeply sexist context really advances anything at all.

 

You just know that if the movie sucks then her name will be used in some less than flattering ways by the press.

Still, she can be my Bond girl any time she likes.

 

Jabba-wocky I am not sure what to say to that just because I enjoy it and it seems its been something lots of others enjoy as well since its been going strong for 50 years so far. I mean yeah a bond girl of a difference race that hasn't yet been featured doesn't advance anything it just adds variety when it comes to bond girls.
