You sound like me most days, popping in and out and missing stuff......it stinks don't it!?

Well, time to head to bed, just hugged the birthday boy in his new 'Onesie' (Angry Bird!) and he's really soft, like having a big teddy bear!!!

When I go back to work I may be out of the BMC for several days at a time :_|

But eventually things will settle down.

I had to stay up far too late last night and I'm feeling the effects.

I'm getting about 6 hours of sleep at night broken into 3, 2hour periods. I should be really tired, but I am not [face_dunno]

Hard to wake or move a sleeping baby. So I just keep running downstairs to check on him.

Inspired by the talk of ringtones and sound effects....

Logging onto my laptop is now heralded by a Lightsaber ignition!

This isn't too weird. Scientists now think that people used to get their sleep in a segmented schedule.

Probably one of the better SW fanfics I've read lately. Though, if I were that author, I would be getting a bit annoyed with the last chapter's reviews. What with it being obviously the same person using multiple guest 'accounts' to say the exact same thing :p

    I'll have to bookmark it.
But lol. Sometimes I wonder if it's the author... I've seen those before.

For some reason if some people sleep in segments they feel more rested than if they sleep all 8 hours at once.
It's monophasic (one segment of sleep, 6-8 hours) versus polyphasic (naps or broken sleep). They say the latter actually works. Some people take 20-30 minute naps every 4 hours instead of sleeping a full night.
    More about it here: http://www.highexistence.com/alternate-sleep-cycles/

I'm actually on sleeping pills to get to sleep and it's gotten to the point where I can't go to sleep without them. However, reading these articles has me considering that I never had a sleep problem in the first place.

I'm currently in the process of quitting all of my medication (with doctor supervision), sleeping pills being the last thing on the list.

If you don't need the medication, then I agree it's not worth it to pay for it and take it. Hopefully it works out! :)

I used to take medication for anxiety, stopped it because I was having more trouble sleeping and was more tired than before. I still have trouble sometimes but it's better than it was.

Thanks, AV! My doc says I'm doing well so far. :)

I was doing a lot of reading online about the medications I was on and had the realization that my anxiety meds were actually exacerbating my anxiety. D'oh!

Lesson learned, always do your own research about what you're putting in your body.

    That's great! :)

Yep, and always monitor how it makes you feel...
Luckily I had kept a track record of how many nights I had panic issues so I could see within 6 months what it was doing.

    It just says

    Service Unavailable

So I think it might be a DNS error or something on my end, but if Waffles or Mirax are having trouble it might be Facebook's servers.

EDIT: Just found it. Service disruption on their end. All because I tried to log in. :p

    Hi Warrior!

I'm terrible about keeping journals. I don't know why, but if I miss a day, it causes me anxiety that I'm not being faithful to it, which causes me to stop.

Edit: Facebook is working fine on my end.

    Journals are evil.

It's still not working here, people are complaining on a few sites.
You're one of the lucky ones, Mirax. :p
