I lurked here many years before finally signing up. I remember watching this trailer that was posted on the main page and believing it was real. I remember watching it a 100 times, disecting each scene and showing all the guys that lived on my floor in my dorm. Then, at some point, I must have discovered the forum and read that it was fake and the reasoning behind it.

 

The more things change...

I always figured you had to be logged in already for anything to count as actual 'activity'.

 

I recall us trying to dissect the opening TPM teaser scene of the Gungans coming out of the fog. LOL.

I just recently joined the Board this week. I am from the old SW fanzine times published back in 1986 and 1989 -- but then gave up when submissions were hard to get.

I had another account on here around the time AOTC came out..I think it was jedisithgirl or something like that. But when I tried to login with my original email, it wouldn't work.
So now I guess I'm an oldbie? Since I registered this account in mid May 2005. Or maybe a midbie?

Welcome back, Ty. This is the first board I have ever joined and I love the fact that every one is very welcoming and helpful.

 

Welcome to the JC. I've been here a long time. I was here in '98 too, but my original username was lost during some kind of upgrade or board transition or some such. I first got on the boards to get info on TPM and talk it up with other fans. Now here we are doing it all over again for Ep 7. Very exciting. Reminds me of an old Led Zep tune ...the song remains the same.

 

Thank you, I was given the link for this site and I lurked for a while and then decided last Christmas to join so I could post messages and such. BTW I have a pretty kitty in my neighborhood named Mr. K.

Even though I'm considered a Disney Princess around here , I'll have to say it's cool to see the oldbies around!

 

Will do, Mr. K. I don't have a pic of the kitty and don't usually see him too much on the very cold days like we've happening. It was 12 degrees when I went out today at 12 Noon -- come on Spring. If I can capture of pic of him in the spring I will try and remember to share. He's golden brown and black --- very bushy long hair --- but for a male kitty he's a small guy (like 6 lbs) and the big strong silent type --- I've never heard a peep or meow from him --- but he's friendly and likes to petted. (If you can't tell -- I'm a cat lover. I have a Maine Coon mix named Max. His pics are on the thread of Canderous and Cade's Crazy Cantina. in the last couple pages.)
