yeah, speaking of atoms for peas, i have this AWESOME bootleg of a show from back in july. songs sound so much better with the actual band than on the studio record of just thom or whatever it was. flea and joey waronker and the other percussion guy laying down completely SIGG, groovy foundations for the usual bippity-bop. wonderful, wonderful! if you want a copy, don't message me.

I saw this post earlier in the thread and just had to reply, harps. It's funny because I felt the same way about all three albums when they were first released, but I have grown to enjoy them all immensely. Not the greatest work by any of the bands, but still some really excellent music on all of them, IMO.

I guess not every Radiohead album can be an OK Computer or an In Rainbows... some have to be kind of interstitial

Sure. And hey, some people actually prefer TKOL to any other Radiohead album - different strokes. I can say that Separator, Codex, Lotus Flower, Give up the Ghost, and Little by Little have worked their way into my regular Spotify rotation. Still not in love with the other tracks, but they're not bad.

Here's some classic Radiohead for ya:

I've warmed up to all three albums, but they're definitely not my favorites by any of the groups. I have to be in the mood for it, but I'm capable of loving King of Limbs, sometimes. The Suburbs, I've also warmed up to, but again... have to be in the right mood to listen to it. Of all three, The King is Dead has grown on me the most. It took a while, but I love the album now.

    it's that time again, nerds!

new radioheads album dropping sunday 5/8. here are some traggs that have been released:

i like this second song better than the first. it is a heavy hitter on the level of pyramid song.

king of limbs was kind of pffffft. pup squirts. but this album seems promising - a return to the warm, enveloping sound of in rainblows. we will see i guess.

i wonder if spectre is going to be on it. i think it would fit in perfectly with the vibe so far.
