I had been waiting to resub, that'll be this weekend for sure.

 

I just hope they figure out a good way to balance this so that it's actually a viable niche function of the game. Space missions right now have effectively zero draw.

 

The trailer looks nice, but we'll see how it actually works out. The whole release schedule is also a bit complicated. I understand well enough, but calling it early access for subscribers is a bit funny when there's a month long delay. Although that means subscribers will be the ones beta-testing it really (it should be up on PTS eventually but there area always bugs). Just hope its not too unbalanced- they're still struggling with general class balance and PVP. I think they just went from 8v8 to 4v4? I have little to no interest in PVP, so not sure if they got rid of Huttball entirely or not. Here's hoping it turns out good though, for the sake of the game.

 

I hope they make it like Rougue Scuadron

 

I actually would have prefered an expansion with new planets, I guess that it will come later. However, this expansion looks cool and looks promising, the starfighters too. I hope they will add a non-PVP mode to it to do like a rogue squadron thing/ battlefront thing.

 

Just allow multiple people on one ship like SWG. Yeah I know, copying, but it was one thing that really worked nicely in the game...

 

I know right, having a SoroSuub Luxury Yacht kitted out with nice furniture and inviting all your friends to a private gathering was great fun in SWG.

 

I'm sure they'll have something similar when Guild Capital Ships arrive

Having some high hopes for this one. Also 12-12 is pretty big.

Hopefully it'll be as great as it looks, regular PvP is a bit dull.

 

I dont like pvp, I prefer doing Operations or FLashpoints, but space dogfights looks interesting.

 

Confirmed today that GALACTIC STARFIGHTER is in fact update 2.5 and drops on Dec 3. Also, Double XP is back for Thanksgiving weekend. I expect a ton of starship personalization goodies up on the Cartel Market when it goes live

They've said it will be up on the PTS, but no dates given. Hopefully soon, I want to try it out.
