    Correct. It's sherry -- oloroso to be specific. Although as far as stemware goes, it seems that cognac has become increasingly popular (think a lot of rappers drink it or something) so a lot of places will have it, but they'll serve it as if it were whisky. Bah!

    Jello: if we ever drink together, it's going to have to be wine. :p I've had one experience with sherry. It was ugly.

    It's an acquired taste, and it's certainly not among my favorites. Most of the sherry I've had has had a sort of hazelnut flavor to it (particularly olorosos and amontillados) but I'm given to understand there are a lot of varieties. I'm far from an expert.

    But wine it is!

    Maria: I introduced my friends to port, and they decided to pour big huge glasses of it... sigh.

    edit: anyway, we should move this to the "what are you drinking?" thread because it's gone a little beyond commenting on a picture now, heh.
