ST Make me a Teaser Poster

I've been working on this one since Wednesday

 

^ WELL DONE!

My only criticism would be that I think Shadows of the Dark Side is a better title.

BTW -- More posters creative peeps!

 

I'm digging this... Lots of black and red. Very evocative and sinister. The concept of a Sith building a lightsaber also makes good use of Star Wars lore. On that note, my only issue would be that people who are not familiar with the SW EU might be a little thrown off by the synthetic lightsaber crystal.

 

I love the poster, but I have no idea what that person is doing with the Lightsaber.

 

Image isn't bad. Not sure about the tag line (esp A Menace Lurks).

Nice! The tagline could use some work, but the image is simple and grabs the eye. I love how it implies the person is a Jedi, but depicts him or her building a red lightsaber, a significant moment in their fall to the Dark Side. It would make a cool teaser poster!

The first pic is the best representation of the Big 3 I've seen yet. And its great.

This one wins on account of great detail and originality. Heck, if you copy/pasted Nic Cage's face on it, you would win the internets.

 

Thanks. Leia and Han's bodies are the Alderaanian senators cut from Episode 1, and Luke's is a member of Rebel Legion, so it just kind of came together. The second one was much harder to cast...can't please everyone.

 

I'm sorry...I know it took some work, and not many other people have even tried...but there was a thread here titled something along the lines of "What would make you mad enough to walk out of Ep. VII," and if Han looks like Siegfried and Roy like your poster, I'm walking out. Assuming he's going to be in it at all

Seriously, i'm not trying to be a ****, as harsh as the above sounds.

I know it's not an obvious thing for Han to wear, or a particularly Han-like pose, but I was going for the symmetry of the white on either side of the black. Also, you know how hard it is to find a picture of a Han-like costume that is NOT a straight up copy of OT Han Solo? I doubt the man would be wearing exactly the same thing 30 years later. It's why I used Captain Shakespeare's body (from Stardust) for Shemar Moore's head in the other poster. Guys in nice Star Wars style clothing (not OT Han Solo, pilots, or Jedi) were impossible to find.

 

Also...it did occur to me that Han's not likely to wear such an outfit...except to a State function, or a funeral. If that makes you feel any better? After all, it's legends never die, not heroes never die.

 

I decided to go with simplicity for this entry.

That's freaking cool. I don't suppose you could do one with the Episode VII style font. I'd like to make wallpaper out of it.
