That one is awesome!! I LOVE that it's not symmetrical with the colors of the sabers.

 

I like it, my only complaint is I wish we could see a bit of their hands in the shadows holding the lightsaber hilts

 

This is pretty cool. I am not sure why I am offering constructive feedback, since you are the competition, but I think if you added very slight variations in the tilt of the lightsaber blades it would add a little extra asymmetry and boost the realism up a couple notches. Very nice!

 

I like that the colors have a pattern too.

 

Thanks all! Regarding the hands, I did try it when I was making the poster and it just didn't look good. The hood is a separate element from the hands, so the unseen arms create a strange disconnect... if that makes sense. Also, I had to pull several different hands for each person and they just didn't look good together. So off with their hands!

As for the tilted sabers, I did try that as well, but in the end I went with symmetry as I thought it looked more attractive. I figured much like the prequel teaser posters, there is a less realistic and more "ideal" imaginative look that LFL went with.

Cool. I dig it. And I agree with A Chorus of Disapproval that it works on a large scale, reeling you in, and then dishes on the specifics, which is what a teaser poster should do. Nice!

Darth_Harmon - Excellent work! Others have said it, but I too love that they colors aren't symetrical. I also really like the subtleness of the hoods.

The Hellhammer - I needed that laugh! I don't know which is my favorite part, screen play by no one else, based on story by, or the Crayola in the corner. I loved it all though!
