I really can't wait to see what they do with the arc this is based off of/inspired by.

 

So does this mean Nick Fury will die? You can't kill SLJ though. That'll just make him mad.

 

Loving what I have seen of the trailer and I can't wait to see how the Winter Soldier thing develops when I go see the film. The thing that is just burned in my mind from the trailer that I just loved was Cap throwing his shield at Soldier and him catching it I was like YES!!!

 

I don't think you could get away with killing Nick Fury off in anything other than a proper Avengers film.

 

Plus SLJ is signed on for multiple films isn't he?

 

Wasnt he on for the regular six films? So he's been in, Iron man 1, 2, Avengers, Cap 1, now Cap 2. Thats it right?

 

Cameoed in Thor too, IIRC correctly.

 

After the first Iron Man he signed a nine picture deal. Counting cameos that includes Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, Avengers, and now Winter Soldier. So he's signed on for four more.

 

Eh, my guess is Redford's character will hire Winter Soldier to attack SHIELD to warrant more power for SHIELD and have him take out Fury so he can take over. Cap will go rogue and take him down and Fury will come back in power by the end.

Thats presuming his appearance on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D TV series wasn't meant to count as one of the 9 appearances under his contract.

 

6 appearances still isn't 9 appearances.

 

Who cares, SLJ does any role that they will throw money at him for. Even if his deal is done he'll be signed on a new deal and keep making more. SLJ is one of those actors that will act until he dies on the sound stage.

 

Yes. Plus they have him on the nine film deal. That doesn't mean they have to have him in nine films. You little people get far too caught up in this sort of thing.

None of those are science fiction/fantasy though, so they don't count.

Look at Bill Paxton. Nobody cares about him dying in Vertical Limit. We only count Terminator, Aliens, and Predator 2.
