Isn't it obvious I'm not talking about her clothes? The look on her face and her hair style looks perfect for an OTish stylistic return to the ST.

By the way, The Hellhammer, any chance you can draw me up a version of my Lady Vader character?

The look on her face? Seriously? You saw her face and thought "man, that is totally the facial expression of someone appearing in the original Star Wars trilogy"? What does that even mean?

And the hair? It's long straight hair. The most generic woman's/girl's hairstyle imaginable. I can't even think of a single character in the OT with hair like that. Leia wears her hair down once, on Endor, and it's still got braids in it.

Yep. Her no-nonsense hairstyle reminds me of Luke or Han, and the 70s in general, and she has a soulful Jedi look to her eyes.

    Sorry you can't see it!

Not even a little bit. The blank, expressionless stare of the modern tween love-triangle is about as far away from Star Wars as can possibly be imagined.

This! So this! Thank you Jedi Comedian.

I think you're getting "soulful" confused with "blank". And her hairstyle? As Jedi Comedian pointed out, there is not a single hairstyle in Star Wars that is similar to this one. And how is overly straightened, perfectly layered hair "no-nonsense"? Both Luke and Han have puffy "big hair" that was popular in the 70s and looked ridiculous.

Like I said before, if you can't see it, you just can't. I think she looks just right for the part. Maybe you lack imagination?

No it just seems like your version of the Sequel Trilogy would be closer to Twilight than the Original Trilogy. Compare that picture above with any of the OT posters and tell me how they are similar...

I wouldn't mind this casting. She was pretty good in The Host and seems like a Star Wars fan.

I have no idea. Looks like Obi-Wan. Maybe a promo or deleted scene from the ending of RotS where he gives Luke to the Lars.

I don't like Bobblehead Luke. And give him a right proper Phil Tippett beard.

The amusing thing is I've never seen any of the Twilight films, never plan on doing so, and I'm not even a particularly big fan of Saoirse, who starred in what I consider to be the worst movie of all time, The Unlovely Bones.

I suppose it's possible though that I unconsciously want Star Wars to be Twilight homage. Maybe I sleepwalk at night and watch the films?

Honestly, I was as surprised as anyone when I saw the above picture and thought Saoirse might actually be a nice fit in SW. Shame me and stone me as you must, I stand by that improbable view. :)

    The original Twilight?

Only with poison, incest, and murder!

Back when the Gothic was Gothic.

Arsenic-powdered donuts would have increased the drama of the "We would be honored if you would join us" luncheon, exponentially.

And, now we can fully sympathize with just how bad Lando's "own problems" actually were that day.
