If I had any graphic art skills, I would simply jam about 8,000 ships into a background so that you can't tell what they're doing or even that they are ships. The only thing it would seem to look like is a bunch of nomadic colors flowing into one another. Then in the foreground, I would have the following text: Star Wars Episode 7: May the Force Be With You.

Below that, in super small text:

You'll need the Force to find any humanity in all this!

 

Okay, I changed the tagline and title. Finally, figured out how to sharpen the text. I also touched up the image a bit. Let me know if there's anything else

I have never done this sort of thing, but seeing how much fun you all are having, I could not help but come up with an idea of my own. Here is my humble submission



I intentionally submitted a slightly smaller version, because I want you to be able to see the whole poster easily, without the need for scrolling, because I think it works best when you can see the whole thing at once. Clicking the poster will bring you to my photobucket account, where it looks even smaller and you can zoom in, if you wish.

I like it, my only complaint is it seems a bit fuzzy so check the pixels.

 

Yeah, I am unhappy with the fuzziness also. It wasn't for a lack of trying, however. The fuzziness was already present in the photo I used, but it was the best one I could find to execute my concept. I did find a clearer version in black and white, but I felt like the ominous orange glow added a lot to the poster. Do you think sacrificing the color for clarity would be worth it?

That's the bast tagline yet, love it. The poster itself is great too, I don't mind the fuzziness as I consider the great idea to be a priority over technical execution in this case. Great one!
