Gaming Altair You a New One: The Assassin's Creed Series

I just found it clunky at that point. They were going for these cinematic/filmic/dramatic/cool moments, but the engine felt unresponsive at that point.

However, that mission where you have to run through the town that's being bombarded, and making it through unscathed gets you 100%? That was awesome.

It's just a bit too hit and miss for me. I'm keen to see what AC4 does to streamline or refine the gameplay.

 

AC IV comes out tomorrow, will be picking it up

 

No more weekday, midnight premieres for me...

But I will pick this bad boy up in time for the weekend.

 

So... I have to wait until the end of November. Because I want to play it on Next-Gen. In Europe.

As a former sailor, this game has me the most excited since Ezio's debut... I just hope I don't have some stupid saying everytime I kill a shark.

 

Man, this game is fun so far and the MAP IS HUGE wow, bigger than GTA V and the graphics are amazing

Templar-Assassin hybrid, though Edward's connection to both groups is sketchy at best.

This game is like Grand Theft Auto on the Caribbean Sea, Ed's pretty much a scumbag.

 

Well ****, he's a goddam pirate after all. You can't say anyone with that profession is a stand-up guy.

So what's the verdict guys? Is this a must-buy-right-now product or am I better off holding up a bit 'til it's inevitable discount?

 

Last night, I had a blast with all the new refinements... controls feel like they are supposed to, but better.

I've said all I'm going to say about the main story for now, since I spent most of the first few hours running around, cracking chests open, finding maps and trying to locate the buried treasures. Don't go too fast or you might miss the [To DIG hit - O ]

 

I haven't even been looking for buried treasure yet, maybe I should next time I play

 

Does anyone see any reason to buy this on PS4 or will the improvement likely be purely cosmetic?

 

You don't even need to buy this on Next Gen, game looks fantastic, graphics is better than GTA V

So apparently Ubisoft wanted at least 10 games in AC series, well they have 6 already, so 4 more to go

 

How does naval combat compare to AC3?

Is the greatest navy that ever was plausibly good in this game? They were pretty underdone in AC3 as your little privateer cut them apart...
