Her head snaps when a newcomer enters, but nothing happens when I float through her? Curious.

*grabs some candy and begins eating it*

 

*regrets eating too much candy already*

 

We professionals don't eat candy. *Far-off look*

They're all over the floor so why not? *picks some up and starts eating* Not bad. Could use some salt.

 

*Swings in from the rafters, using her 70 feet of hair*

Ghosts floated, zombies shuffled and the walls of reality were shattered in the EUC 2013 Halloween Sock Hop. Fun, and confusion, were everywhere.

"We should put and end to this," the Empress of Light declared. "It's..." she trailed off as her companion nodded his assent.

"Agreed, but let them have their fun just a little longer," the Mand'alor replied. "For tomorrow, they all shall perish." The Empress knew that tone, and knew the smile that was now hidden behind his faceplate, though she had never seen it. "You're taking an awful risk here Bardan, this had better work."

Morning dawned on the EUC, and the threads were nearly empty. As the sun rose over the horizon and the moon began to fade the socks noticed something strange in the sky. It was unlike anything the socks had ever seen before. Speculation ran rampant.

"It's a bird!."

"It's a plane!"

"Ha'tak!"

"Definitely Borg."

"I think it's a small moon...."

"Dats no moon," and as all the socks turned to the undead Jar Jar they knew he was right. It was no moon. It was the BardanStar.

Far away in the BMC those who could touch the Force were overcome with a dreadful feeling. It was as if millions of socks had suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silent. They feared something terrible had happened. And they were right. For with the power of a thousand creepy smiles, the super-creep of the BardanStar had torn the Sock Hop apart and banished the socks for all time.


Or at least until next Halloween.
