It's called "volunteering".

 

Eventually they will realize their own plight as they slave away for us making donuts with nothing but a thank you for their hard work. They will unionize and demand compensation. It will lead to riots and eventually revolution. And all because you are unwilling to grant them just compensation for their labor.
