Anyone have a copy of Wraith Squadron at hand, and is willing to look something up for me? Mine's still packed away from the move. (Bookshelf should be set up tonight!)

Thanks guys! I just need to know when Face Loran was supposedly killed by that ex-Rebel extremist cell. I'm sure Tyria mentioned a Death Star during the conversation, but for the life of me I can't remember which one. (Silly Emperor, making two Death Stars. Silly man.)

 

I was going to grab the book and find the answer but my copy of Wraith Squadron is missing!

Unfortunately my room is a disaster zone at the moment so it could be a while.

I do have it on my ereader as well, but the battery is dead. Wait! It's alive.

Looking at my copy of Wraith Squadron, it's on page 56 when everyone meets everyone else at Downtime. Towards the middle of Chapter 5.

The question was connected to your drawings. How are you finding drawing the characters?

 

Fun! Although I figured out that Myri's eyes are out of line with her nose and mouth. But, you know, I'm still learning, and it's a good base for a 'draw this again' a bit later down the track.

 

If it helps, draw faintly the basic form of the pose with basic shapes and elements as a rough guide to help align things and then go over and clean up the line work before rendering. That is how I start do things

Hmm... a light blue pencil would work for the construction and then go over with the graphite. That is how it is usually done.

 

You know what? I've never even thought of that. Why have I never thought of trying that? *starts wandering around, searching* Brain, oh brain, where have you gone?

 

I'm happy when my stick figure's arms come out the same length.

 

The stick figure makes up the skeleton of the figure, so that is a plus

Just add basic shapes and you have the structural form over the top...
