When you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to come up with counter-examples, that in itself proves the point...

Are you talking about Bean in the movie? It's been a long time since I've read the book so I don't remember how the book described him. But the actor playing him definitely isn't white. (According to his website, his ethnic background is German, Eastern Indian and Pakistani.)

I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't speak to its diversity; all I know is the comic, and he was brown in that. And still got a whole separate Shadow miniseries.

Maybe it would help if all the quotes describing Bean's appearance were compiled?

rereading some old Ki Adi Mundi comics... how comes Cerea is supposed to be dominated by females with men a minority yet every panel I see that is not showing Ki Adi's wives features way over 80% males.. even with their politicians. That lying bastard tricked the Jedi Council to get his wives!

And every Cerean we see outside Cerea, in the Jedi Temple, in the background shots etc, is male.

Mace: "I thought the Cereans fixed that few-males-born thing centuries ago?"
    Ki-Adi: "... no."

imagine the Jedi Council visiting Kamino during the early Clone Wars...

Mace: Hey I think these guys can fix your homeworlds problem Ki..
    Ki-Adi: Ahem... too expensive..
Mace: Come on, the Republic got prepaid supersoldiers.. lets tell them the price was for the clones and your homeworld is rich with fertile males again.
Ki-Adi: I'd rather not lie to the Republic...

Well Ki Adi also claimed that his species due to two brains can look into the Dark Side without/with less harm than others... he sure got lots of tricks up his sleave with the Council. Next he gets away with training a Padawan who is too old to become a Jedi and skips the Youngling stage.. oh wait, hellow A'sharad Hett. Anything else Ki Adi did but nobody else was allowed to?

yeah.. and lets see whose idea it was on the Council to remove Palpatine from power by suicidal force, to which Yoda and Mace first were opposed but then gave in.

Ki-Adi Mundi in ROTS: If he does not give up his emergency powers after the destruction of Grievous, then he must be forcibly removed from office.

Jedi taking over the Republic? His idea.

I'm told he's the first to condemn Ahsoka in Season 5 of TCW when she comes under suspicion.

[face_party] He sure is responsible for a lot... then again his apprentice turned into a fine Jedi Knight before Legacy claimed he became the next Supersithlord...

But hey... Ki-Adi's Master was the DARK WOMAN... his apprentice A SITH LORD... he broke every rule and code the Jedi had... by asking if he can (!) and he was allowed to (!!!)...

He sure must have been a Master of the Mindtrick. Reminds me of Harry Potter 2 and that professor who could trick everyone into believing his lies of heroism and achievements.

Despite the name, "The Dark Woman" was portrayed as more "maverick Jedi" a la Qui-Gon, than "villain" usually.
