have fun on the west coast. I'm heading out to LA in a few weeks. Flying to LA almost always makes me wish I could go to San Francisco or San Diego instead.

 

I haven't really been out of the airport in over two decades. Have landed in your fair country and now just awaiting my connecting flight to San Fran. I now realise why the US economy is slow, all of the redundant security screening people employed in airports. My new passport looks worn out after 30 minutes clearing US border security. .I must have presented that sucker 6 times. Must cost the taxpayers billions.

 

My wife has been cleared for U.S. citizenship. Her swearing in ceremony will occur between 1 and 3 months from now, notification pending. One of the things her interviewer did was check her passport to see whether all the stamps matched the entry and exit dates she listed out in her application.

One of the 6 questions she answered correctly to prove her qualification for citizenship was "what ocean lies on the western coast of the United States."

We'll be having a party at our place between 1 and 3 months from now to celebrate. All Senate members are invited.

 

Also, it's officially in the record now that my wife has never been involved in prostitution or the drug trade.

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself here. I've only recently started to care deeply about politics and global issues and am looking to gain more perspective. I have my own political beliefs but as of right now they only feel superficial, so hopefully being here and getting perspective will help me learn more.

arma is a super-serious FPS: if call of duty is trying to be an 80s action movie, arma is trying to be a real war.For example-the game maps are real places that are created to scale; there's no "twenty minutes to the other side of the map" stuff going on.
