    It may seem rather uneventful over here, but 'tis just the calm before the storm; the prelude to this section of the boards rising up and taking over the entire websi-err...that was a to me thought.

    Once bona-fide spoilers hit, full on plot summary descriptions and the like (ironically, probably in the summer 2015) I'll retreat to this section. I dunno how "unclean" I will be by then, though. There's just nothing to really spoil right now. Where's the line, anyway? Somebody got cast? I need guidelines for living on the razor edge!

    I think December is perfect, although a part of me wished for May being the Star Wars month I don't want the film rushed at all. December is good as it will be like having the Christmas present I always wanted. ;)

    It wouldn't have been had Episode IV been released in December 1976 as planned.

    Star Wars would have more than likely always been a December release had things gone the way originally planned.

    I'm disappointed it won't be ready for a May release (a SW Dec release does just feel "wrong" to me), but I agree with TrandoJedi--I'd rather it depart from the May release "tradition" if that's what's necessary to ensure it's a stronger film.

    I'd rather go with the actual movie being made and coming out as 900% more important than "Release it in May because all Star Wars movies are released in May" random tradition that people have latched onto for no logical reason.

    I'll retreat over here once principal photography gets rolling. From what I remember from the prequel days, that's when the extras on the set started running their mouths and we got rumors that turned into actual spoilers. I don't care about knowing the characters and setting but I don't want to know anything else.

    I'm disappointed in you NSAers though, this thread isn't nearly as funny as the SA thread. WHERE'S THE NERDRAGE???

    I'm happy about this news; I'm off work for about half of December and thus able to pick my show times better.
