    From WrestlingObserver.com/F4wonline.com:

--Coming off their wins last night, the Mikkel Parlo vs. Brennan Ward fight in the finals of this season's Bellator middleweight tournament takes place on 11/8 in Thackerville, OK at the WinStar World Casino. The winner will get a title shot.

--Charles Oliveira of UFC suffered a leg injury and is out of his bout on the 10/19 UFC show in Houston against Jeremy Larsen. Oliveira is coming off a loss in a great match with Frankie Edgar.

--Chael Sonnen talks about why when they ask you who you want to fight next, please don't say, "Whoever Joe Silva and Dana White say," as your answer at http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/10/5/4804852/chael-sonnen-on-the-importance-of-promotion-and-why-to-never-say-ill

--Apparently Wednesday's Ultimate Fighter match with Jassimyn Duke vs. Raquel Pennington fight is the best of the season. Dana White liked it so much that he bought both women tickets to the Mayweather fight.
--The Modesto Bee has a story on Michael McDonald, who faces Urijah Faber on the 12/14 UFC show in Sacramento at http://www.modbee.com/2013/10/03/2956784/mayday-promotes-big-bout.html (thanks to Ben Jensen) It notes McDonald lives only 80 miles from the Sleep Train Arena where the show takes place.

Any picks for Cain-JDS 3 tonight? I like Cain to win, just as he did in the second fight- pure attrition, gets the decision in 5. I like Cormier to beat Nelson, and Melendez to control and decision Diego Sanchez.

Yeah, I think Cain's going to win this one too, and Melendez beats Sanchez too.

Nog would have gotten crushed, anyway. Only two fighters can stand with Gustaf at the moment- Glover and Bones.

-- With Antonio Rogerio Nogueira out, Alexander Gustaffson will now be facing Jimi Manuwa on March 8th. Manuwa is 15-0 in MMA and has finished every single opponent he's ever faced, 14 by knockout and one by submission.

    From WrestlingObserver.com/F4wonline.com:

--The UFC's debut in Mexico, which had been tentatively planned for April at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City, is out because they want to go in with Cain Velasquez. Velasquez suffered a left shoulder injury. At this point it's not known what the injury is or how serious it is, but it came from the fight with Junior Dos Santos and he's had an MRI done on the shoulder. Until the results come in, there can be no movement regarding his next fight.
--For last night, the three-hour Fight for the Troops main show (not including the 5-7 p.m. Eastern time portion) did 641,000 viewers. Ultimate Fighter did 583,000 viewers.
--The Saskatchewan government introduced legislation on Tuesday to create an athletic commission which would open the door for MMA events in the province.

--Bellator weigh-ins are at 6 p.m. today at the Mist Nightclub inside the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK for tomorrow night's show on Spike headlined by Cheick Kongo vs. Peter Graham.

The UFC in Mexico will be awesome when it happens.
Have Cain, Diego, etc. and the place will go crazy.

What happened? I got so caught up in being excited over the Doctor Who trailer and other things that I forgot about UFC Fight Night.

Belfort KO1 Hendo. Looked like Dan was still actively defending though, similarly to when Fedor rocked him early. I'll check the replay when I can, I might be totally off base, but it seemed premature.

I didn't think it was that bad. Not ideal but eating that kick after already getting rocked was not good.

That should be good, would love to see Gustaffoson face either one of them. Both Teixiera and Gustaffoson have great chances to beat Jones, and each other. Loving the LHW division right now.

Cormier will be dropping down as well. Glover's probably not quite as dangerous to Bones as Gustaffson was (heavier hands, but slower), but he'll give him all he can handle.

George is in big, big trouble. Going into last round.

Evans TKO Sonnen, Lawler decisions Macdonald.

Edit- Dana is going to blow a gasket. Hendricks easily won the fight, split decision goes to St. Pierre.

Terrible decision in the St. Pierre v. Hendricks fight. I don't see how anyone can say St. Pierre won that.
