I don't normally like posting in threads that I haven't thoroughly read, which is why I haven't gotten around to this behemoth yet, but I'll throw in my two cents now anyway.

In Episode VII, a new Sith warrior appears in in a cool iconic looking disguise to challenge the Jedi. At the end of the movie we find out that Sidious, now in Sith spirit form, is behind this.

At some point in the saga we learn that the new apprentice is actually a respected leader of the new Republic, acting as a proxy for Sidious to once again infiltrate divide and conquer. But this apprentice has plans of their own.

In Episode VIII, It also transpires that Boba Fett escaped the Sarlacc and trained a child of his own, who becomes an antagonist as well.

In Episode IX, Sidious takes on a corporeal form and reveals himself to the Jedi, who learn the identity of his apprentice as well. The apprentice then kills Sidious, and a young protagonist is caught between loyalty to the Jedi and the friendship of this political leader/Sith Lord.

I think there will be other antagonists as well, such as other warriors involved in a new galactic war instigated by the Sith, but that's what I have at the moment.

And yes, my ideas are that unoriginal. :p

Personally I enjoy the variations of familiar themes and concepts in these movies. But knowing Lucas, I wouldn't be surprised if I were at least somewhat close to the mark.

Thanks for the tag, Trebor. I find your ideas interesting, and definitely well-thought out. I myself, would be partial to seeing if not a descendant of Boba Fett (or the man himself), than perhaps a descendant of Bo-Katan (a son or daughter, maybe) as a nice little shoutout to TCW, which GL was involved with, as well as a subtle nod to the continuation of the (spoiler!) Kryze family line. Only this time, Clan Kryze would no longer be associated with the pacifistic New Mandalorians of the past, but instead have embraced the former kote of the greater Mandalorian heritage.

    (Sings)
    Kote!
    Kandosii sa kar'ta, Vode an.
    Manda'yaim a'den mhi, Vode an.
    Bal kote, darasuum kote,
    Jorso'ran kando a tome.
Sa kyr'am nau tracyn kad, Vode an.

    Kandosii sa ka'rta, Vode an.
    Manda'yaim a'den mhi, Vode an.
    Bal...
    Motir ca'tra nau tracinya.
    Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a.
Aruetyc talyc runi'la solus cet o'r.
    Motir ca'tra nau tracinya.
    Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a.
    Aruetyc talyc runi'la trattok'o.
Sa kyr'am nau tracyn kad, Vode an!

    Glory!
    One indomitable heart, Brothers all.
We, the wrath of Mandalore, Brothers all.
    And glory, eternal glory,
We shall bear its weight together.
Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all.

    One indomitable heart, Brothers all.
We, the wrath of Mandalore, Brothers all.
    And...
Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame.
    Our vengeance burns brighter still.
Every last traitorous soul shall kneel.
Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame.
    Our vengeance burns brighter still.
Every last traitorous soul shall fall.
Forged like the saber in the fires of death, Brothers all!

Love it. Love everything about it.

And I'll say this, too: If we get a Boba Fett standalone, I hope the picture puts a spotlight on Mando culture, too, as opposed to bounty hunting, alone.

I hope Zach Snyder directs the Boba Fett movie complete with bloody violence and slow motion shots.

Tempting as that may be, Joe Johnston would be crushed, as if by shuk'orok!

If Joe Johnston directed Boba Fett, then I could pretend that it's the sequel to The Rocketeer!

Part of me feels the exact same way.

And yet, I'm not necessarily talking about Marvel's earth-based characters. They have some great cosmic characters that might work in the GFFA. Aliens the Silver Surfer or Fantastic Four or Guardians of the Galaxy have met. I'm not certain this would be as bad as our guts say. But maybe. I'm a big fan of hybrids (the cars too).

Darth Chiznuk: That should have read "cosmic" not comic, but maybe my unconscious is telling me what I really think of the idea. ;)

If it happens in a comic or something like that I wouldn't mind. If it happens on film it would be utterly ridiculous.

How about this? A outer rim world ruled by an evil group of Force using alien conquerors (who've governed over their less advanced and non-spacefaring people for centuries) is accidentally discovered by some space explorer when he lands on their planet. It would be sort of like Star Trek and Planet of the Apes meets Star Wars.

Thank you. I must admit to the excellence of my question. :p I will also admit that, even taken together, each one of these justifications are weak.;)

This, however, is genius. And you have my full support. Bring it.^:)^

I like, Iove it, I want some more of it....

and we probably are better off. She probably would've spoken with some stereotypical racial accent, which would've been bad on its own, but it also would reveal Yoda has a speech impediment.

then my work here is done!

I was wondering the same thing.

If the kid would've been Owen and if Obi-Wan's real name was Ben Lars, Lucas could've actually made the PT fit better with the OT.
