Ok, your version of Firefox is the one that's having the issues! Our lovely JCF tech support crew is working on resolving the issue.
Here is where you can see how it's going. Once they fix it I'm sure they'll post a message there.

Another question... Can one copy and paste an image into a post or does it have to be a URL? For example, if I have a picture on my computer, can I include that in a post? I pasted a photo into a post recently but when I posted it, it was not there... only the text.

Sorry for the computer-geek questions...

 

If it's already on the internet yes. But if it's not uploaded yet then no. You will have to use a website that hosts images such as photobucket.com then you will be able to post your images.

I was trying to make a SW gif using that "gifsoup.com" site, and I got almost to the end (a page appeared with the gif, and it was moving) but then the whole page seemed to keep freezing up (I tried it multiple times) and I was trying to see if I could post the gif anyway by just linking to the frozen gifsoup.com page. But then the link that appeared in my post here only brought up the previous gifsoup.com page, which had the whole YouTube clip I was using as the source for the 2-second gif (instead of just the gif itself).

No biggie. Maybe I'll try fooling with it again sometime later. Though I guess if anyone happens to read this post at some point and has run into this issue with the "gifsoup.com" site or has any general tips about using that site, they could post about it here and tag me.

 

I've seen animated posts posted in threads. But you can't use gifs or animated gifs in your signature, I remember they disabled it because it caused everything to run super slow. Depends on where he's attempting to post the animated gif...

 

I believe animated gifs are not allowed as avatars but I know I've seen them in posts. Perhaps the site was at fault.
