I predict that as of November 21, 2014, principal photography will have been finished for about 3 months:

Confirmed:

• The entire cast for Episode VII
• Identity of villain(s)
• Identity of the main protagonists (besides the big 3), like who they are and where they come from

Strong Rumors

• Overall arc of the trilogy
• the general story-line and direction for Episode VIII
• The "look" and feel of Episode VII
• Front-runners for Director of Episode VIII

Tantalizing Possibilities

• Pre-production on first standalone Star Wars film
• Whether Han will die in the trilogy and when/how

 

If Luke has a beard or not

 

Agreed. That's all pretty logical, unfortunately, and ironically, you killed your own thread. I don't know that we'll really know too much more beyond that. Maybe some production pics.

 

My list is by no means all-inclusive.

 

I predict I'll still be hunting for spoilers between Star Wars Rebels episodes.

 

I predict that if Palpatine returns, it will be a well-kept secret that everyone knows about.

 

I could that happening though I'm still holding out hope for Plagueis

 

I'm not trying to start up that conversation in yet another thread. There's already like three of those where that can happen. Lets stay on topic here.

 

Aw, if only some of the above things were mentioned and/or made known by November 21, 2014, 'cept for the Han thing because as far as I'm concerned he's like Captain Harlock, immortal along with the rest of the possibly returning OT cast. Oh, and that bearded Luke stuff, ha-ha...I feel bad for Hamill as apparently facial hair has become a trademark of his, and he doesn't know it yet.

I keep thinking to myself that if I knew that the Big Three + the Billy Dee, Peter Mayhew, etc. were returning I'd be on cloud-9...but let's face it, that'd be a lie, as once that news presented itself I'd have to know more; I know, I can't help it. To add to the list--and perhaps I overlooked it--I would love to see concept art during the course of production, so as to get an idea of places, people, vehicles, objects and such that we might see in VII and beyond, and perhaps those that didn't make the cut which are equally as interesting to look at.

 

C3P0 will be confirmed to return!!!

 

Since Artoo has already been confirmed, Threepio should be next.

 

I predict we'll all be one year older.

 

Taking bets on which Nov / Dec movie will have a teaser.

 

I think we'll know the name of at least one planet that's in the film and we'll have seen an image of the falcon. We will also know who the first stand alone is about.

 

This time-ish next year (January 2015) we are taking the kids on a surprise trip to Disneyland. I am praying with everything in me that they have some of the Star Wars stuff put up.

 

this time next year, i will already have graduated college and on my way to becoming a police officer.

 

I predict we will probably have the title also.............

 

Premonitions? Premonitions I have.
- Cast. It's inevitable, rumors, magazine articles, paparazzi photos etc.
- Hints of the story. Revealing of the cast mostly means revealing of their characters. Characters lead to story speculation. Some should be confirmed.
- Pictures of the sets.
- Episode's title. This is far-fetched, but it could be, why the smeg not?
- Some teaser poster?
- Oh, yes. This time next year we'll be millionaires!

Wow, that soon? I guess it makes sense if the first teaser will likely be the Superbowl in 2015.

 

By this time next year we may know who the villain(s) is/are in Episode VII, but not the overarching villain.

 

The way spoilers are being released by Abrams & Disney: We will still know nothing!

No if he return they will use his real name Sidious. No one will call him Darth Palpatine, but he will be called Darth Sidious.The senator from Naboo was no more after III.
I know EU novels call him Palpatine but that is only because GL never cared about the EU that much and EU dumb down canon.Anyways everyone in the galaxy knew him as Sidious a Sith.
I mean who dress like that and have a second in command called Darth without beeing a Sith himself ^^ pretty obvious, and mass ameda or whats his name is after Yoda
