And my vote remains Luke.

Bane= very powerful Sith.
Luke= The most powerful Jedi (or indeed, Force User period. I don't care about that osik about the Father)

 

Luke is just TOO powerful for this, the only way I can even imagine Bane winning is via Essence Transfer but I am not convinced he would win that mental battle.

Luke. It'd be an amazing duel, with amazing displays of the Force and swordplay, but at the end Luke comes out on top here.

 

It really would be a battle for the ages. If this is Bane without the armor, then we see Luke take him after a very intense, but not prolonged duel. If this is Bane with his armor, then the battle goes on for a very long time, but Luke would eventually find an opening and take Bane out. He might even use Electric Judgement against Bane, literally cooking him in his armor. In the end, Luke wins, although he's injured.

 

This is the only fight I can think of that makes me wish Luke could travel back in time to battle this guy.

At the end of the day, the Lukester comes out on top.

Gotta go with Luke on this one, there's no way Bane can come up with anything to get past Luke's defenses.

 

Seems like Luke will win every battle every time. Next time leave him out of it since it's canon he is the strongest ever. So just to be different, Bane.

Luke use shatterpoints and there are no armor, but Electric Judgement sounds good

He could play the role as judge, who keep an eye on competitors.

Well. Yes because Luke won't touch his nephew (this would be evil), and Windu won't touch either because Luke prevent him to do so

As about this duel - its simple - Luke during sleep.

 

I'm just starting other discussions throughout each battle just to keep it more interesting. We all know the top eight competitors were Luke, Windu, Sidious, Bane, Exar, Obi-Wan, Dooku and Revan, but who would you all put as the top 10 most powerful Force users if it was up to you? Characters who weren't in this competition (that you know of ) can be include too.

If it was up to me, I'd say:

4. Lord Vitiate
5. Galen Marek
6. Luke Skywalker
7. Yoda
8. Darth Plagueis
9. Satele Shan
10. Darth Malgus

I'll expand on a few of my choices.

Lord Vitiate - He was able to defeat the Jedi Council and turn them to the Dark Side without getting out of his throne. He was able able to dominate the minds of eight thousand Sith Lords and bind them to his will and could combine all of their power to rip the Force from an entire planet.

Galen Marek - He defeated Darth Vader and then Darth Sidious not long after. I think that says enough.

Darth Malgus - The main reason why I rank him so high is because he's able to take on four enemies at once, and if they start to over power him, he can Force choke three of them at once while fighting one at a time, now that's what I call powerful!

I haven't voted yet. I'll go with Luke Skywalker, but it wouldn't be an easy fight, and Bane would probably be one of the most powerful enemies he's ever fought. Bane was one of the greatest Sith of all time, but Luke was the greatest Jedi of all time, so he'd end up taking this one after a long and intense battle.
