How do I quote people?

My quoting won't work. HELP!!!

It appear that there is a glitch in Internet Explorer 11. If you use Chrome as your browser the reply button will work.

You could always highlight and copy the information you wish to quote and then press the Quote icon above and paste the quoted text in between the two quote boxes. You can personalize it by putting some thing like [quote = name of person] followed by the ending quote box.

 

It's more the fact that I don't know how to quote

 

Master Mini 907 Normally you push reply and it quotes everything in that message…but it is not working. So just push the " icon and paste the quote between the two boxes that have the word "QUOTE" in them. It is the last symbol in the toolbar.

How'd you say who said it?

 

If you want to say who said that quote in the first quote box put [ quote=jedi_lover ] quoted text [ /quote] (I put spaces in those boxes so they would actually appear to you. There is no space between the [ and the word Quote.

If you are not using IE 11 you would simply have to push the REPLY button and everything in the message would automatically be quoted for you.

Good job. If you just want to get a person's attention and not quote them then use the symbol @ followed by the person's name. Such as Master Mini 907

 

You can also direct posts to a quote using the chain [quote="Username, post: Post#, member: Member#"]Stuff[/quote].

For example, [quote="Jedi_Lover, post: 51176821, member: 1148811"]Stuff[/quote] gives
