Amph Game Of Thrones (uh i guess it's done now? Edit: No!)

of course game of thrones is about sports. jousting, bear wrestling, hiking, archery, fencing, drinking, warging, decapitation, incest... all sports.

 

No worries my man, head over to the ASOIAF thread, I just reposted it.

 

This stinks because I've only read the first two books so far even though I watch the show, so I keep forgetting what constitutes as spoilers.

 

When successful, they should. But I feel like they need to tone it down here. The colors are so bright and used in such bold contrast (eg different forearm and chest colors vs using one for an accent) that it looks more like a clown costume than a sweater.

from what i've heard the game will be based on the books and not the tv show.

 

The trailer shows an HBO logo at the end, so I'm guessing it's more closely tied to the TV show...

 

ah yeah, it looks like early reports were wrong. still pretty exciting.

 

I'd be more motivated to get a game based on the books.

 

Maybe the game will have all the characters the books do that the tv show doesn't?

 

I hope Telltale finally upgrades their game engine and graphics. The numerous software issues I've read regarding The Walking Dead game has seriously discouraged me from trying it out. Though maybe I'll Redbox it one day.

 

I'm not even sure why the continuity should impact the gameplay experience. They are unlikely to make a simple retread of what's already happened in the books. So if they locate the game in another historical era, the show's glossed over enough that it will be hard to discern when or if anything is "inaccurate."

So apparently filming has wrapped up for Season 4. Any guesses when we'll start seeing trailers?

 

I really hope the new game is better than that horrid excuse from last year.
