Amph "There's More Than One King" - The MonsterVerse [Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire]

1998 Godzilla looks like a cross between a T-Rex and Pete's Dragon. I hope they get it right this time.

 

Eeth-my-Koth Now is that two monsters that I am seeing or is the monster in the 2nd picture the evolved form of the first monster we see in the first picture?

 

I believe it's two different monsters. But I can't say for certain.

 

Who is the actor narrating the first part of the trailer? Voice is familiar but the names don't ring a bell.

Would this be funny to say in the theater after the first appearance of Godzilla the monster even if it was the trailer? Tanaka why are you running. Its only a movie. Or would it be totally inappropriate?

 

I did love the Godzilla roar in the trailer. Stays true to the source material.

 

I still feel very curious to see the overall look of Godzilla because so far we just seen his silhouette in the smoke from him destroying buildings and stuff. But from what we can see if I saw that coming at me or if I was one of those army guys flying down to the destruction well be really scared. Makes me wonder what exactly was the strategy of what they were doing by parachuting down.

 

Maybe they're going to secured sticky bombs to him?

 

Maybe they'll send army of golden Robocops after him?

 

The trailer in the theatre was awesome, and the audience had a positive reaction.

 

I loved the trailer and I never saw it before then. I was like, "what is this?! Looks cool!" Then a gigantic monster and I was like damn. Thats awesome.

The 1998 Godzilla did get you excited but you never really saw Godzilla to give a good opinion during the trailer. But I feel you see a lot more of this new Godzilla in his trailer then you did in the 1998 movie.

 

i waited in line for a midnight showing of the '98 godzilla. sadly it wouldn't be the worst movie i did that for.

 

That teaser trailer for the '98 version was terrible. Good lord.

Eeth-my-Koth if it was a more toho looking Godzilla then its possible the story would have been different with Godzilla not being a pregnant female protecting her babies. I def. think this new Godzilla will be very good I mean the trailer looks good and at least they aren't creating there own Godzilla they are still following what Godzilla is all about some monster just randomly destroying with no motive as to why that will sometimes protect his territory from other monsters or aliens.
