AWWW YISSS awesome episode.

 

Damn. That was crazy and dark (and really good).

 

They did it all faster than I expected and damn but it was awesome.

That was awesome. It both satisfied me for a few weeks and left me eager for more.

 

Deathstroke... SHALL WE BEGIN!!!!??

 

I can't believe I've missed such awesomeness for so long. I really need to start watching this show.

First season gets good after the Dark Archer's proper introduction, IMO.

Also, for all of us who called the particle accelerator's role in Barry's origin, high five.

 

Speaking of Barry, I hope his father is played by Dawson's father.

 

That would be a paradox of epic proportions.

I really think that Gustin did give a Barry Allen that works within the "Arrow" world. He has brilliant chemistry with Emily Bett Rickards, and also some decent chemistry with Stephen Amell. Some people were complaining that he looks too young, but I think that it worked well enough, and people seem to forget that Oliver is really only 25-26. Given the role Barry has and his science knowledge we're looking at around 22-23 for him. The physical and experience differential between the two makes for a better dynamic I would think moving forward so that there doesn't end up being a sense of repetition between the two shows going forward.

I also liked that they revealed that Oliver letting both Diggle and Felicity in wasn't random or rapid, but that he had been checking them out the whole time.

Did like seeing Slade as the big-bad for the season, do think someone in the make-up department needs to be fired for the crappy silvering of his hair.

 

I am shocked that a CW show can be this good. Loved seeing Flash, Grundy, and Deathstroke in the mid-season finale! Wow!

 

Agreed. Though Oliver is 28. (We have a birth date: May 16, 1985)

 

Arrow is certainly a fun show, but I kind of wish they'd have cast Paul Blackthorne (Detective Quentin Lance) in the role of Oliver Queen. If you watch The Justice League cartoon he's almost a dead-ringer for the Green Arrow character with his look, voice, mannerisms, etc.

 

That would have been awful and unwatchable.

 

That episode with the Dollmaker was simultaneously great and hilarious because it's like, did Lance and Ollie carpool around while investigating? How does Ollie know which floor to Batman his way onto in time for a cool entrance?

Anyone else stoked on Kord Industries being blatantly visible these past few episodes?

 

I'm really happy theyre ok with having characters (Laurel) disappear for a few episodes before showing them again. Makes it less of a Clark Lana Smallville thing.

 

Yeah next episode is gonna be awesome
