Hi there my Jammies, I had the wrong dates for Oct. and Dec. and had to edit my post to correct them.

 

Ah.
Should I call B and N, to get us on their flyer (or website or whatever)? Might get us some visitors. Also, the book for August is Star Wars: Kenobi by John Jackson Miller.

 

Oh, and October is Darth Bane: Path of Destruction by Drew K. AND the comic Jedi v. Sith (if you got it/ can find it); with bonus points for reading the other 2 Darth Bane books.

 

Got them all listed my Jammies. So far as calling the B and N... I called them twice last year and they dropped the ball both times.

Maybe you'll have better fortune.

I gotta say, this book is a fast read-- I'm digging it. I hope to see you all there on Monday! (if you haven't read or finished the book, come anyway-- just talk about Darth Mual in general).

So, I make a motion that IF (and I mean IF) JCPS closes due to weather tomorrow, we move Book Club to next Monday.
I don't want to not have anyone show up, nor do I want anyone to wreck to talk about Darth Maul.
So-- I think we can use JCPS as our metric for how bad snowy traveling might be.

Hopefully, the snow hype will be just that.

If not, then I move we should just meet next week.

Unless they get the roads cleared up here and I do mean like .. Oh My. We won't even try getting out of these hills in our beast. No matter how many wheels you've got on the ground pulling.. ice is a no go. We had ice up here also... ugh.

 

Ok then, Book Club moved to next Monday. That would be the 10th of February.

Just in case, I will duplicate this announcement in a new thread. I'd hate for Relin to cross the bridge just to sit alone at B & N.

Did we decide for sure what the December book club read will be? I remember discussing it somewhere but I've fallen out of the loop on it.

I ordered our next read 'Truce At Bakura' from Barns and Noble but at least was able to locate it.

Also, I have tried finding the Comic Jedi v. Sith with no luck, but I have found the coffee table book titled Jedi v. Sith The Essential Guide To The Force. Are they comparable to one another?
