    Were you staying around Charleston? Aiken is about 2 1/2 hours away. We stopped for dinner there on our way to Atlanta. Probably wasn't y'all, but I figure with all the traveling I do I'm bound to run into someone from around here IRL one of these days. :p

    Yeah, I like Tapatalk on my phone because it make it so much more convenient and quicker to browse forums on my phone's screen. The Windows Phone version which was still relatively new left alot of be desired on my old phone but on Android its wonderful and I like the way it feeds notifications from my favorite forums to me. I wouldn't use it on tablets though. I find my Kindle Fire HD's screen is plenty large enough to browse the forum (and most websites) regularly. I'm sure Tapatalk is worthless on an iPad. There is a version for Windows 8 but I can't imagine why anyone would bother.

    Finally saw The Hobbit: TDOS this afternoon... I thought it was great. Liked it even more than the first one. Smaug himself was just awesome.

    Maybe it's because I haven't watched it in a while, but I never once thought of Sherlock during those scenes. And I didn't see STID at all, so no Khan moments either :p

    Happy holidays to the best forum on these boards. [face_party]

    I think we've done pretty well this year considering we've had nothing new to discuss since March, and that's a testament to how much fun this place is; I really enjoy hanging out with you all whether we're anticipating new material, rehashing old material, or discussing stuff that has nothing to do with Star Wars TV.

    We've got a lot coming in 2014 and I look forward to what should be a fantastically good time in here. :)

    Now I'm going to drink eggnog and make gingerbread cookies and fudge with my kids.

    JAT FTW!

    So I had this weird dream last night. In it, one of the newer mods (either Todd the Jedi or TaradosGon, both were present as their avatars) challenged incumbent SithStarSlayer (as Quinlan Vos) to a moderator duel (whatever that is), and it went something like this:

    Todd: I challenge you, one moderator to another, and only the strongest shall mod LACWAC!
    Sx3: So be it. Give him his banhammer bansaber. (Seerow throws the bansaber towards Todd, who grabs it and snarls as TaradosGon looks on) For LACWAC!

    After the duel, in which Sx3 is soundly defeated, Todd raises the bansaber over Sx3’s head:
    Sx3: Like you said… Only the strongest shall mod!

    Then I woke up. That was a weird dream, to say the least.
