Buff, NY North Ridge Builders' Workshop

I decided that I was going to build my own Mando helmet. I found some templates on the Mercs web site and started construction last night. Gonna do fiber glass route. If it works or doesn't work I learned something. I'll keep you posted.

 

Who's planning on attending this Sunday's workshop?

 

My stepson is in for a short visit this weekend so I am out for the workshop. I apologize. I had previously committed, but his visit was planned just a few days ago and we are getting in some family time.

 

Ooooooo is there one this Sunday Dec 1st?....I may be able to do this

As of today, had a good change in plans and I will almost certainly be able to make it on the 29th!

Well I had a productive workshop ...finally fixed my helmet and cut out some more armor....best of wishes for those that couldn't make it do yo sickness and other issues

As last year, we have 8 workspaces available and the workshop is open Sundays, 1 - 4 PM.

The workshop calendar for January and February is as follows:

February 16

Makers Fair is March 1 - details to be shared at the next club meeting and then posted here.

Please respond to the thread if you intend on using one of those slots; museum security needs to be provided with a list of names of participants in order to pass you without asking for an admissions fee.

Beckie and I will be there around 3pm to observe and learn. We won't be making anything tomorrow.

 

Another great workshop although I did not get as much accomplished as I had hoped.

 

Had to make another trip to the cabin. So so sorry for the lack of reply. I'll be contacting Anna to get together on our own!
