Checking the schedule and I'm not seeing any Star Wars for Christmas. Darn.

Ah! looks like Spike will be doing their Star Wars marathon starting Friday Jan 3rd.

Those are 501st troopers (from the NY area) in the commercial :)

Yay! So excited. Maybe I can convince my boss to tune the restaurant's TVs to Spike at our holiday party on the 4. :D

Can't wait to get home and watch it...unfortunately I've probably missed most of AOTC, which means no Jango...but at least I can catch most of ROTS. :)

Sent from my stupid little astro droid using TapaTalk 2.

It's that time again, time for Spike TV to broadcast the Star Wars OT!!!

Now I don't have to watch entire movie or movies, but it definitely makes the weekend a Star Wars weekend! What will you be looking for?? I'm actually going to watch the O-OT (original "untouched" trilogy) soon for the first time in years. Im looking forward to that and Clone Wars on Netflix next weekend! Thoughts??

My thought is that you, sir (or ma'am) have the best screen name I have ever seen!

I don't think I know you, but I am glad you are here!

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't even look since it's not a holiday weekend. Looks like we might be snowed/iced in on Sunday so it's a good time to watch the OT.

Thanks for the warm greetings...I am glad to help make your weekend brighter (or warmer since it's cold for most of world). Watching ROTJ now, and spending it with you!

We watched Empire. Mrs. Jammies's TV must be awesome, as the Hoth scenes were in surround-o-vision! Or, maybe it was just the snow outside.

Still, I thought it appropriate to watch a snow battle during a snow storm. If you are like me, you see something new each time with these movies. When the Falcon rescues Luke from the underside of Cloud City, ILM must have used the big three foot model from A New Hope as you can see the NASCAR decals they used by the cockpit. For Empire, ILM made a smaller 16 inch model of the Falcon (with no NASCAR decals, and two extra cargo holds-why add cargo holds I am not sure) as the 3 footer was too big to move around for the action shots. I'd never noticed that before, or if I had I must have forgotten. Just goes to show-- you can see these films a zillion times and still find something new!

Doesn't look like we get any Star Wars love from Spike this holiday weekend. They *are* keeping it in the Lucas family with Indiana Jones blocks in the evenings at least.
