    In case we lose initiative, I'd advise most of the characters to start the fight from 30 to 50 feet up- far enough away to be out of reach, but still within a move action if you want to close or charge.

    P.S.: @Mitth, the Owl's Wisdom doesn't do anything for you because you're already wearing a Periapt of Wisdom +6. The spell and the item both grant an enhancement bonus, thus they don't stack. Everything else functions as planned...

    IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS SINCE THE IC IS NOT A BLOW-BY-BLOW OF YOUR APPROACH:

    (1) As you might guess, you're all at the West Gate again, fighting on pretty much the patch of ground where Abithriax the dragon immolated. The hobgoblins have just broken through the barricade, and where you are now is in essence the heart of the battlefield; consider that off the map, the reserve is engaged in a stand-or-fall, general melee to fight off the Red Hand's forces as they pour through the gate. This, if you will, is that slice of the battle that involves you guys.

    (2) The elves, footmen and hussaryn on the field are your allies, obviously. Also an ally is Halden, down there at C23, and you'll note with a dwindling health bar since he's just been fighting to stay alive against several hundred hobgoblins that rolled right over his position. Maybe you guys want to do something about this; it's all up to you.

    (3) The creature marked "Kharn" at B16-C17 is, you might have guessed it, the Death Knight. His influence is obviously pretty pervasive, seeing as he's basically now taken the field directly; congratulations, you ticked him off ;) But perhaps the most important thing to note about him -- which Skadi would know right from this moment because she has True Seeing cast, that it's not him. Whatever that thing on the field is, it's not a living being. In fact, it's akin to, if not exactly like, a simulacrum. It's a duplicate, not the real Kharn.

    (4) The creatures marked "Giant" are, indeed, Hill Giants, but once again you're looking at more beefy, and perhaps deadly, versions. Hill Giants generally look dumb. These ones don't.

    (5) I should also note everybody on the field is on the ground except for you guys, all at 40 feet of altitude.

    (6) That is not Santa Claus at G23.

    (7) When writing about your surroundings, remember to consider yourselves in the thick of a fight, or at least above it. The whole area around the western gate is now a desperate battle between the Red Hand and Brindol's defenders. There is a strong feeling the fight will be won or lost here. You've successfully gotten the reserve to where it needs to be; now make it count.

    P.S. Ktala , to some extent Ariel's finally got her wish :D -- Zanaek has become a Protectar, basically a guardian angel, complete with feathered wings, flight speed, and all. His creature type, in fact, has changed to Good (Outsider), i.e. he is a lesser angel in all but name alone.

    I must've seen the Hastes on everyone else and assumed they were all still on there. You're right, the intent was to put Haste on everyone, so her AC, attacks, and Reflex saves can be read up by one, and another attack in there as well. Movement speed's already got Haste in it, oddly.

    EDIT: In fact, I forgot there's perma-edit powers on that post, so I'll go change it and also tidy up the movement speeds, since everyone's now flying either by Air Walk or under their own wingspan.

    EDIT THE SECOND: Should now be fixed for those issues.

    Okay, new and updated map after me getting off my butt and Light offering some much-appreciated doublechecking of my numbers...

    This is not the next round. We've basically gone through Evelios, Ragnar, and Kharn's actions for the round. Reason it took a while is because of duelling Dispel Magics.

    (1) Evelios readied.

    (2) Ragnar raged up and charged in and used Improved Bull Rush on one of the ogres closest to Halden. This worked -- and by dint of his feats, he pushed that ogre back into one of the giants, and then managed to trip both of them up. He also got free melee attacks on both, which resulted in him killing the ogre outright, and doing 81 damage to the Giant (Giant 2 on the map, as you'll note from the health bar.) That giant is marked with a blue circle to indicate he's prone.

    (3) Kharn -- the real Kharn -- cast Dispel Magic. This dropped his invisibility, and he was revealed as standing at C9. Evelios countered that with his own Dispel Magic, and their spells cancelled one another out (Evelios's level three spells also dropped by one).

    (4) Kharn, however, did something Mazarun would have recognised: he uses White Raven Tactics and gave himself another round of actions, which he used to cast Dispel Magic again on Ragnar. That Dispel took out Ragnar's flight, one of his protection spells, Haste, and his Polymorph, which means Ragnar is back down to human size and drifts (safely, no damage) down to land on his feet at C9. Right in the middle of a battlefield. Lastly, Kharn then flew off the rampart he was standing on and went to stand alongside his simulacrum. He is visible, and at least at this moment you can tell which one's which.

    And there we are. Cass would be up next. Stats are redone reflecting these developments and other issues pointed out; let me know if there's any problem here.

    Don't think it would be unwise to confront him directly. He dies, his double disappears I think. Only thing to be worried about, and that's assuming Saint's has it, is Power Word: Kill or whatever its called. Instant death if you fail your saves. Ariel and I can keep the others off you if you and Ragnar want to take him on face to face. I gots me plenty of heals both as a Protectar and as a cleric.

    Power Word: Kill is a no save ability, but it only triggers if you have 100 HP or fewer. That's not Skadi, but it does threaten other people. Though if he had it, he'd probably have used it on Evelios or William by now.

    As to what Skadi does, it kind of depends on what happens between now and her turn, but if she's got a straight shot at Kharn when her turn comes up then it's not a bad idea to go for it.
