Only those of us that get there for the 10 seconds it's available to be viewed.

I sincerely hope that Disney keeps SW away from the Marvel garbage. Although that is probably a naive sentiment.

Yeah, agreed. Some of the Marvel movies are bad but does NOT warrant such a blanket statement. The Avengers movies -- the centric ones for their characters -- are all pretty good.

I can understand some of the movies about Marvel properties being seen as garbage (FF 1 and 2; X3 and beyond, SM3, Blade 3, etc), but yeah the blanket statement of it all is really...off.
Iron Man was phenomenal. Incredible Hulk was decent. Iron Man 2 was alright. Thor was pretty good. Captain America was pretty damn good too (admittedly, the second half more or less being montage could've been way better). Avengers was downright amazing. Iron Man 3 was good. Thor: The Dark World was amazing. Captain America: The Winter Soldier looks outstanding.
Not to mention the risks they're willing to take with it all. Namely with trying the whole "shared universe" in cinema. As well as taking a chance with things like Guardians of the Galaxy.

I would say the Hobbit for a teaser, Avengers for a trailer.

For the same reason its even an option i say Hobbit because pretty much EVERYONE is putting out trailers for there highest anticipated films a year in advance now! Even JJ "mystery box" abrams has at least once with either super 8 cloverfield or possibly both cant member for sure but he did it once If disney abrams or whomever decide not to go this route then i spose avengers will get it so disney can use their huge summer event to boost there huge holiday season event

Dunno. When is Guardians coming out?

I'd say the Hobbit or Mockingjay.

They'll only have been filming for a couple months by the time Guardians is out.

We MAY get a teaser with Avengers, as it'll be huge, but most likely Ant Man next July.

Other - they could simply have a screening of the trailer in it's own theatre, and it would sell out for every showing.

Why do you not believe theyll go for the new year in advance trend everyone is doing i do agree that guardians is too early in response to the apple comment yes thats a given but its always attached to a film later that week thats what this poll is for to guess what that film will be

Trailer? You guys are expecting a TRAILER? Lol. At this rate we'll be lucky to even get the darn title.

But seriously, I'm plumping for the first teaser showing with The Hobbit.

If we're lucky enough to get one late this year, I'd say The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 (November 21). At this point, Lucasfilm and Disney know that fans of the franchise are going to stream the trailer endlessly on their computers/tablets/phones from home, so there's not really a need to attach it to a film with nearly the exact same demographic like The Hobbit. Hunger Games gives the studio an audience that skews a bit younger and a bit more female - an opportunity to expand the fan base. They can then also attach it to Hobbit when it comes out in December.

If we have to wait until Summer 2015 (which lines up more closely with the trailer timelines of the PT), I do think Avengers makes the most sense since everyone and his mother will be seeing it.

Because theater owners are asking studios to NOT do the year in advance thing anymore.

Wouldn't Star Wars naturally be one of this "bigtentpoles" though?

It's voluntary, though. I think Star Wars will continue the modern trend of tentpole releases by showing the teaser one year ahead of release. I say teaser in front of The Hobbit and 1st full trailer in front of AoU.

I say AOU. It's a big guarenteed money maker! What else would be worthy of the new trailer?

No idea. I just hope the movie is as good as The Incredibles was when I went to see the ROTS trailer.

If it's a year in advance then I'll go with Big Hero 6. Otherwise I'll go with Tomorrowland next year.

God I hope it's not The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, because then I'd actually have to pay money to go and see it. I-)

Actually scrap that I'd just pay, watch the trailer and leave.

I predict that we'll see a teaser on either Avengers or Ant-Man and the proper theatrical trailer on possibly Jungle Book.
