Havac 's decision to go with the tried-and-true Jake Lloyd bashing (can it be called bashing if it's just telling the truth?) pays off handsomely.

Alternate Japanese cover to take your mind off of how awful this book is

 

In which Boba & Jango go fishing.

 

That's not the Japanese cover it is the original hardcover before they decided to hype the Yoda fight with the paperback release and imax release. My HC copy has the Hayden/Natalie cover.

 

Well, the book is awful either way. Find a way to express that in a witty one-liner!

Or, you know, describe the book. Either way.

I read this book nearly twelve years ago and I can't remember anything notable about it because it was contemporary to the vastly superior NJO -- the prestigious Enemy Lines duology to be precise -- which occupies my memory instead; also Jedi Outcast.

 

In which we get the infamous sand line, only without Hayden Christensen's equally horrible line delivery.

 

There are three million clones.

 

The idea that the CIS is less corrupt than the Republic is disproven in one sentence.

 

In which blah blah blah blah...sorry, you lost me.

 

After years of backlash for killing Chewbacca, R.A. Salvatore sets out to ensure he will never write Star Wars again.

 

Honestly, I don't like any of the film novels. I find them all dull.

 

Then you haven't read ROTS or ROTJ

 

In which R.A. Salvatore's prose is coarse and rough and irritating and gets everywhere; not like the next book, where everything is smooth.

 

It's like watching the movie, only we don't have to see Hayden Christensen attempt to act.

 

Still a hundred times less boring than The Approaching Storm.

 

It's all Obi-wans fault, he's holding Salvatore back!

 

After reading The Approaching Storm, this seems like Pulitzer material, if you assume Pulitzer material really, really sucks.
