So how lucky has your year been so far?

 

I'm still alive so I don't know.

EDIT: We have about 1½ inches(3.8 cm) of snow.

 

We might get an inch or so, but everyone just north of us is getting over a foot I get jealous when everyone else gets so much more

 

We had snow yesterday, right around 2 inches (I think), but thanks to the wind there are some deeper drifts. Nothing my little car can't handle.


I'm ready for spring *sigh*

 

Spring has it's advantages for sure. Where I live we have several spring like days during winter though. So it's not as exciting as it is for you

*puts on snow suit and makes snow angels*

 

We ended up with about 4 inches. Now for some frigid temperatures to roll in. Down to 1°F(-17°C) tonight, a bit of a warm up for a day or two then Sunday night -5°F(-20°C) and Monday's high 4°F(-15°C).

 

I'm so glad I don't live where ever it is you live DG. I'm freezing enough where I am and it's supposed to be warmer tomorrow....24 degrees is the high.

 

-4F is the high today....With windchill it's -15F or so....
The low is -8F

It's cold.

 

On the way home from work just now I heard temps in Green Bay this weekend could rival the Ice Bowl, could be the coldest game ever!

 

Chicago is supposed to have a windchill of -40°. That's just too damn cold.

 

We are currently experiencing heavy snowfall with a temperature of 34

 

Woohoo!

Remember back when they announced that there was going to be at least three more Star Wars movies and a lot of people started worrying about it destroying the EU? Well over the past couple months I have been re-reading the EU and most everything written before 2002 was destroyed when they wrote the scripts for ATOC and ROTS.

 

Well it definitely takes the mystery out of Will Luke meet his mother? In the Black Fleet Crisis

 

I just finished Children of teh Jedi and am now starting Darksaber. I can't find all of my EU books so I've had to/will have to skip one or two occasionally. I have pretty much every novel released prior to 2010 or 2011.

 

Unless I hear the Jedi won't be using lightsabers and there will be no space travel I plan to see the next movie.

 

Oh I plan on seeing it too despite what it might do to the previous story line(s). I would like to see a non-Sith enemy for a change though. Something/someone that the Force can't directly effect and that the Jedi's Force sense won't work on to predict what the enemy will do in combat.

EDIT: It doesn't show how much snow they are expecting for the weekend but as of now the news is saying 6"+.

 

*looks in*

Wow, no one's been here for awhile.

*brings in snow blower, turns on full power, large cloud of glitter emerges*
