My virus scanner is making my Internet run too damn slow.

 

If you have Windows 7 or 8, the built-in antivirus (Defender) and firewall should be sufficient. Uninstall Norton or McAfee or whatever anti-virus virus it is.

 

I'm on Vista.

There was a sizable enough quake (a 4.4) here in SoCal earlier today... I didn't feel it.

 

So, the coffee flavors I like were sold out at the grocery store. I might just make a midnight run next week and buy everything off the shelf just to teach folks a lesson.

It's January. Even in beautiful southern California, that means it's not supposed to be anywhere near 90 degrees outside. It's also supposed to rain a bit. And wildfires are a late summer/fall thing.

Yes, I recall the furnace going out on San Diego and it got down to a frigid 58 degrees.

 

The remote starter on my car does not work, now I must use my valuable off work time ot get it fixed.

I was craving frozen peaches but I was cold. I ate them anyway and am more cold now, but don't want to get up and grab my sweater from upstairs....

 

Flash Player updated again, so now I can't play anymore videos for another 24 hours. And my Cable Box and Internet are on the fritz.

 

Erm, that's not how video player updates are supposed to work.

 

That's usually how mine go. At least that's how mine go when dealing with YouTube.

 

Have you tried rebooting your whole computer after the download?

 

No, if only because usually everything else still works after the download. It's just that YouTube for some reason (and I guess I should have specified up front that it is usually just YouTube), blocks me from playing vids saying I need to download the latest Flash Player - usually right after I've downloaded the update. So I usually just wait out the 24 hours (sometimes it's less than that) and things usually start working with YouTube the next day

 

I'm hungry but there's only beer in the fridge.

My hands feel really weird because I kept having to fight the same boss in a video game like a dozen times.

 

Well, it seems dinner is being cooked but I'm going to have to wait a whole 45 minutes or so.

 

I don't have enough time to enjoy myself.

 

I've eaten too many doughnuts today.
