    Why so?
Edit: Just looked it up. You are referring to Maul's opponent, right?

Trying to be vague to entice people to go look it up.

Might not be that good but I will read it now

Yeah, I may pick up the DM: Lockdown now. Even if a Yuuzhan Vong makes an appearance for just a few paragraphs. I'll take what I can get.

If I remember correctly the Yuuzhan Vong all lived onthe planet Zonama Sekot after the war. How could a whole galactic civilization, who had previously been aboard the immense Vong fleet (included worldships) have fit onto one world?

Presumably there were trillions of Vong (if not more).

It's possible that the Vong suffered massive depletion during the war.

We also don't know how many worldships they had, and how densely they were populated.

I think there was supposed to be a plan for Sekot to take them to a sector in the Unknown Regions, full of uninhabited, habitable planets, and help them settle there.

They seem to also have settled on other worlds. Rodia for example has a large Vong population per the Legacy Campaign Guide,

Yes, indeed, and a Yuuzhan Vong was serving the pirate Rav in the Legacy comics.
So, that probably means that by the time of Legacy encountering a Vong was not that uncommon.

It is mentioned (in the Essential Atlas, IIRC) that the Vong were still hunted by Bothans during Legacy. So I would assume that while encountering a Vong was not that uncommon, it was definitely not normal.

Still, it would be fun to see that storyline further developed.
Since the Bothans were considered spy masters, it would not be that difficult to track down Vong, I suppose.
Personnally, I loved Borsk more that the YV, but that is just me...

Something I would find fun is some bothans finding out about a group vongs and trying to rally a pose of the other bothans who are more interested in going on with their daily business.

I just happen to meet some Bothan spies this afternoon who are willing to pay me a handsome price for information on the <cough> Yuuzhan Vong. ;)

Maybe the writer of the NJO should have used "Yuuzahn Vong" as a tribute to Timoth Zahn.

I come back from my travels and I see the V-word being tossed around, tsk tsk :p

There were pockets of Yuuzhan Vong who refused to go along with Nas Choka's surrender at the end of the NJO, it's possible that these groups formed their own colonies elsewhere, as with on Rodia. You also have that Yuuzhan Vong who shows up in Mercy Kill, too. Judging by the reaction that gets, I would say the galaxy is pretty divided on the stance of integration with them.
Kind of disappointed to hear you only get a few lines worth of the enemy in Lockdown though :( don't think I'll bother with that one then.

    Nas Choka, my favourite YV!
At least, he did not make things more complicating than many other leaders did.

I'm afraid I'm always going to have to go with the fanatical Tsavong Lah. Nas Choka had his head screwed on the right way round from a human perspective, but he still surrendered. ;)
That's what happens when you listen to Harrar [face_whistling]
